LO3: Understanding My Own Potential Career/Study Routes

Career Interests -

My career Interest are to be a graphic designer, I would like to own my company. But this goal will mean work my way through different companies and making a name for my self in the industry. To start this journey I want to go university to learn about graphics in more depth before continuing to work in the industry.

Qualifications and Skills needed for Career Interests - 

At GSCE I have C in english, maths and science this essesstinal to go any further in industry. I should finish College With a Merit in Level 3 Creative Digital Media and a C in A-level Photography. At University my dream would be to get a first in Graphic Art and Design. From the course will give me good connections and a qualification to to get a job at a national Level. 

Work Experience Opportunities - 

I have already worked in industry and I could go back to my old job fulll time at Rottweiler Productions however I would like to go bigger companies so it looks better on my CV.

Funding for Higher Education -

I've applied for a a student loan. I will get £8,000 as manentice  loan, after paying for my accommodations I will Have £62 left for food a week. However, as I have a part time job and can transfer to Leeds I will get £7.75 a hour work 16 hours a week on average, will give me a extra £124 a week. This leaves me with £186 a week with is more than enough to live off. 

Personal Plan -

As I am now finishing the end of Year 13 at UTC I am focusing on getting the best grades possible to get into uni.  While I'm at university I will continue to works bars for money and experience. I then would like to get a job as junior designer or a designer for 5 years. Then I would like to do a few years travelling and working in different places  

In the next ten years I will of liked to of gained enough knowledge to branch off and create my own company, working for clients of my own and expanding the business.

In the next 30 years I would look at taking more step backed roll in my company, but this is if my plan goes to plan. The other part of my plan is to do with crypto-currency around investing in coins like Bitcoin, Etherium and Golem. Also investing in companies what uterlize cyprto in there companies.
